Bootboy82 Exposed Video

They have been a sort of pioneers to create an own independent national scene with a style. Some of the old bands more into the Oi!

Attitude were good, but easy disappear at first difficulties while P. It wasn't easy, but this people are still around! Just as a curiosity what happened to the people of old f great Italian bands such as Intpleranza or Pjastjc Surgery?

They both split up for different reasons. It has been a shame because musically they were excellent bands and have left fewer releases than was their potentiality.

Continues next page O Even if you play a harder sound do you eniov those musicians of identity rock that Italy has both in quantity and quality such as bis , ZZA Massimo Morsello , etc?

There are good links between our people and it's not rare to see skinhead bands play together identity rock bands. We use listen to them, sometimes very professional like Compagnia dell'Anello, enjoyable like bis, aggressive like ZZA.

Is it still valid? It wasn't a proper law, but a mix of limitations who forced the scene to be more careful and clever.

Skinheads weren't forbidden anyway and in the end it helped to grow a better situation. Just walk around any town, at a football match, in a decent centre pub or where some nice girls use to go Which were the results of that law?

Did the number of skins go down? See 1 6. Which are in your opinion the biggest problems of Italy and Europe?

There are three big problems our old Europe is facing: the mass immigration, the financial power, and the cultural degrade, if we take everyone by it, it causes a deleterious chain reaction involving all our life's aspects.

The three together are worse and worse. After the new CD, we are just planning some live dates. We are working on some new merchandise too.

Keep in touch with update news at the tureco iol. Do you have any final words to say? We take the opportunity to send our salute to the people who listen and enjoy our music.

We wish all the best to your excellent mag. For blood and soil! They used to be friends for a long time, so they started talking about forming a band.

The main idea was forming band where could be on the first place fun and punk- rock. Even that evening they found singer called Pusinka.

He won the.. As the last member they took on Honza. The name of the band 'Randall Gruppe' was because of their musical talent, as they started playing on instruments on which they usually don't play, but that was premise for playing good punk : After three months of existence - no more than 10 rehearsals they recorded the first CD called 'Bunch of Rascals'.

You can find there songs about cops, journalists, politics, communists, Asian tigers etc. The band started playing gigs, and this situation took time till summer Before the second CD Pusinka said, that after the recordings he would left the band for personal reasons.

We have tried to find a new singer but without any result, so soon Mario left the band too and Honza was kicked-off. That was by than the end of 'music crime'.

In autumn of Martin initiated rehearsals with Rak who had just started to learn playing bass , and the plan was a comeback of Randall Gruppe on the scene.

Once, during my visit in Brno, Martin told me about his plans and he asked me if I would sing in the band. But when I came back to Bratislava, I received an e-mail from Martin with the date of the first rehearsal!

The only problem was that the Guitar player was still missing, so I invited Miro who was also learning how to play guitar hehe!

It was a good sign that 'music crime' would be back on the scene in the old good style : First rehearsal went very well and we practiced around 7 songs.

Two weeks later we took Mirek on lead-guitar, so the second line-up of the band was: Martin drums , Rak bass-guitar , Miro rhythm-guitar , Mirek lead-guitar , Marian voice that's me.

We started rehearsal and thereafter we also played our first gigs. The response had to be really great, because we got the first and soon second invitation to Italy!

But back to our story: During the summer of we took time-out with gigging, because we started to concentrate on recording our second CD.

The CD includes 11 tracks two of them are covers from songs Skrewdriver and The 4-Skins about the skinheads way of life, and about our lovely gypsies, queers, church, politics, USA and Beatles : Everything approached from the "funny" point of view.

After the recording, we started to gig again and played a great show in Prague with the bands Squad 96 and B.

Czech major TV stations and newspapers made some coverage of this gig. Even before the gig around 16 skinheads were arrested and we got marked as a 'Neo-Nazi' band, because song 'Hey Jude '.

I don't sing about you long time - Hey Jude you have pus in your ears stinky foots dirty hair. They also didn't care about the fact that we sing 'Hey Jude' using English words and not German words what could be mean 'Hey Jew'.

But they wanted sensation and they got it. On other side, we got so much dedicated space in newspapers as Britney Spears : I think it was good free promotion before the release date of our CD hehe!

This story was together with personal motifs the reason why Rak left the band, so current line-up is: Martin drums 28 years, tattoo artist: Mirek lead and rhythm guitar 23 years, worker; Miro bass-guitar 24 years, storekeeper; Marian voice 24 years, PC technician and editor of Made in Pressburg zine.

The reformed band played from October till today around 15 gigs with bands like Adler, Ancestors, B.

Introduce us to your band please mention also the records you made. Me Dennis on Vocals and guitar. Vitti on drums, Jake on bass, and Roy on guitar.

We did Cheated that was the first H8machine, and now, Hardcore for life.. Are we. The reaction has been good. A lot more people are into the hardcore sound nowadays What about influences of H8Machine?

Please comment. Mostly older shit like Gorilla Biscuits or Cromags Harley and those guys were racialists at one time though. We have had offers How do you define your music?

And lyrics? The music is hard and to the point, the lyrics make you reflect on things that I believe we all can relate too.

What about European fans? Do you receive a good feedback from the old continent? Any gigs around here? Yeah our bros in Europe seem to like it No gigs right now Also, even being a WP band, your lyrics are all legal.

Do you think this way you can reach other youngsters still outside the WP scene? I think so. Well of course I dig the old shit, Skrewdriver, Brutal Attack.

I would but I wouldn't, you see, if you are on with them then you would come across as supporting their ideas, then you would be called a sellout.

But the other hand is, a much larger people would get to hear it Which are your plans for the near future?

Keep working on some new music, and stay out of jail. Now some quick questions. Your thoughts about: - Straightedge: If you can live by it, do it Your favourite: - Drink: Water.

Youths and veterans all over the country gets together to start new constellations. One of these bands is Battle Scarred, from Gavle.

We have taken the pulse on Puncc - The vocalist of Battle Scarred. Can you give us a brief history of the band? OK we started it back in As none of us could play we thought it sounded great heheheL.

Me, Pitch and my cousin Joe L. In the begin of '96 we recorded "No brain for the future" that later was re-recorded for our first CD.

Also we started gigging and so Battle scarred been trough several line-up changes, what's the current line-up? Yes it's impossible to find good members nowadays isn't it?

We had at least 5 bass players and 4 rhythm guitarists. Me and Pitch the drummer carried on for many years with different members until September when he got out.

Svulf who was playing bass since early and I jumped to the conclusion that we had to re-arrange the whole band if we wanted to move forward again What's the main purpose of the band?

To drink as much beer as possible and have a good time. Has the band experienced any problems with left wing groups or police or been accused of being a political band?

Yes the reds used to pick on us when we were younger claiming that we were a right-wing band. Nowadays we don't much about them. We live in the countryside now were there's no trouble with the law or any political groups.

Tell us a little bit about the oi! The scene is not very big around here. We've got Bovver brigade playing streetpunk and a lot of the "skate kind" bands I guess there are a lot of those feminist shitty bands but that's not punk.

What kind of music does Battle Scarred play and what are the main influences? We play as simple as possible, hehehe I don't know.

We're punk rock inspired by those rough early Oi! Fortunately we have some organizers around Sweden who refuse to give up How long has Battle Scarred been around?

Since But under different names The band has recorded new material to a split CD with the Swedish band Unit Lost, Is there any differences compared to the self-titled debut album which was released several years ago?

Sad enough we had no drummer so I had to play it I accuse my drumming for it. Anyway Svulf told it was a good thing as Unit Lost usually plays faster and harder music so we matched them up good I hope he was right!

On the rehearsals for the new album we tried to slow it down a bit How many gigs has Battle Scarred played? Well, during we did about 10 gigs around our hometown.

After that, we had just one gig Eskilstuna Sept. Have you played any concerts outside Sweden? We were supposed to play with Condemned 84 in Germany but it was fucked up due to a misunderstanding with the organizer and our record company Are the members of Battle Scarred involved in any other bands or projects?

Has the band signed with any record label? We're recording our new full length for Pure-lmpact records this summer, while the split CD will be out on Bootprint records LP version will be released by Pretty Shitty Town productions.

Future plans? To get drunk and maybe play a little Any last words of wisdom to the readers? RU - Hello, Introduce us to the band naming also the records please.

Well, we've been hangin'out for years, we all played in other bands and everything was fine. But one day we had nothing to do, and a lot to say The Arrogants was born!

Nothing less, nothing more! We're not bad, we're not saints but anyway We always tried to bring back the old school sound from the 80's, when punk music was simply punk music, and there weren't too many labels.

That's it! What you puke is what you get. Everyone in the band has his own tastes, someone listens to Oi! Main themes in our lyrics? Well, we come from the backstreets; we just want to have fun.

We like pubs, we like sex, we like brawls, some of us like old gore movies, we hate hippies and those useless ariarikrishnakrishnakrishnakrishnaari scum hahahaha..

Does the fact of it being known as mainly a skinhead label affected you anyway? Sure we are! Gigi has a great label and is a good friend.

Of course the fact of being known as mainly a skinhead label affected us Why the hell a punk band plays for Barracuda Rees?? Love us or Hate us How was it?

We had fun, great music, great beer, great people and no mess What else could we ask for? Who are those girls? Friends, fans and groupies around the world Anyway, we always get new pictures from groupies Tell about that and about the Arrogants bikini army.

Yes, we did it for our last CD The Arrogants bikini army? Is it a coincidence or were you inspired by them? No, personally I like their style Some great gig in the USA, money and a lot of beer.

Which team do you support? Well, not really He supported Inter for years and still does I always liked the West Ham I guess it's not your case, am I right?

Well, we don't sing about politics but for sure NO WAY! Punk shouldn't be into politics i think I think that left-wing is for hippies, anarchopunks or bohemiens Our usual fast answers, what comes to your head concerning: - Skinheads: u.

To understand —ore you may visit their www. ZZA the law of the cycle.. ZZA men and women not-edible, not benumbable, that cannot be stuck in the great '.

What do you think of football and of the terraces? The stadiums are a good raining for learning how to live, especially for the younger You have a huge amount of merchandising, that includes more than 20 t-shirts, pins, buttons, stickers of all shapes but also very unusual objects, amongst which we must remember your black sea- towel, the ZZA fifteen puzzle, a perfume, Basically our merchandise is a mean to finance the innumerable initiatives that rotate around ZZA.

Our contemporary world creates lots of artificial needs for all of which the password becomes "never without". Actually things like the fifteen-puzzle, or the perfume, or a coaster, are totally useless, and we find amusing to propose them as absolutely indispensable for the survival of the individual It is quite difficult to talk about Cutty Sark as for us it is a sort of second home, were we go every night and were take life our projects, our songs, our friendships.

No Reporter www. In a world of cheap media traps No reporter is a beam light in the darkness. The "Occupazioni Non Conformi" are a sort of "nationalist squats".

In this moment there are 5 in Rome and we know of at least another one in Catania, Sicily. Why the need of ONC? What part have you got in the phenomenon?

We started 3 years ago occupying a rural house near Rome, the now famous Casa Montag. Whilst ONCs are centres of..

As protagonist I would say You are not skinheads, even though there are for example, influences in your music, as in your last CD "Fronte dell'Essere".

What do you think of the skinhead movement? Personally I Sinevox come from the skinhead scene, so I cannot think but good of it, at least for what it has given to me I think the movement should be more political otherwise there is a risk of it being a self consuming thing.

On the other hand the political panorama surely needs some skinhead mentality. You have made 3 Cd's so far, each of which has its own sound It may seem strange but in this particular political moment we have really lots of things going on so it remains somewhat difficult to go in the studio with a clear mind Yours is the word!

We would like to salute all the boys that are in jail or suffering in general. Hearts to the Sky! The party went calm and the participants came to meet an unbelievable heat wave.

Because of that, many of the visiti went to the beach 4 km from the event and were cooling down. The efforts from the police to harass participants were very low if you compare it with the other years.

One of the reas can be their last year big failure when media published "manufactured" fake pictures with young people doing the Viet salute. About people visited the event.

It was less than in other years, but it was already expected because this Ultima Thule didn't perform but still they were there and helped with other work.

Very soon, luckily, we find in Testudo the guitar player we were looking for and here "officially" starts the story of SPQR with a series of concerts in Rome and roundabouts.

After a few months Lonrenzone joins the band that assumes the shape we were looking for. So presently the band is Fabrizione voice , Attila bass and choruses , Francesco-Testudo guitar and choruses , Lorenzone guitar and choruses , and Fabietto drums.

But, nevertheless, for you it is important to remark the difference between the two bands. Actually, what sort of connection there is between the two?

The fact that Fabrizione was the singer of LS doesn't mean there is a continuity between the two bands. At present we sure do sing songs of Londiunum but also of other bands such as Intolleranza and Skrewdriver.

In other words we just play the songs we like. It is also clear that we are constantly adding are own songs to our repertoire, so the space of cover versions will soon reduce itself.

In any case in a while the shape of SPQR will be definitively settled and will be seen farfrom any filiation. From a musical side you seem to have a very distinct, personal sound, a sort of fusion of RAC, metal and hold school hardcore.

Is it so? Is their a specific "SPQR sound"? It is always difficult to classify your own music, maybe it is easier for someone outside of the band to seek for the right terms of comparison.

Our intentions are to play, fast, powerful and aggressive music, able to work well in a "live" dimension. Concerts are certainly a fundamental part for the vitality of a musical group and this works also for us: if you come to a SPQR concert you must be part of it, you cannot simply stand on a side "enjoying the gig".

Our music brings people to the most frantic pogo and to dramatically spectacular stage-diving scenes. If you are looking for an SPQR sound, metal, hardcore or what, well, this really does not interest us.

Our approach will always be the same one: we do play what we like. We are not looking for "originality at any cost" or planning at a table the musical direction of a song.

We prefer, during rehearsals, to improvise a few riffs on some lyrics, in a way that the song is the more spontaneous possible.

How music will always stay true to itself, direct and violent. SPQR addresses itself to different types of public: the skinheads, the identity rock following, but also to hardcore fans and metalheads.

Does this correspond to your actual concert following? Yes our public is quite "variegated" to say the least: obviously you will find a lot of skins and identitarians, but there are also many comrades that do not follow any particular scene, and that see the concert, quite rightly, as a moment of "political" aggregation.

Recently we do also have a following of rockers and metalheads. Then if some punk, hardcorer or else listens to our music, for us it is OK, although we do not seek "to gain people to our cause".

Generally speaking all are welcome to our concerts especially girls ahahah!! Just a simple advice, if you come to a concert of ours bear in mind it is not the "usual" concert, otherwise The musical scene in Rome seems quite lively, is it so?

Musically speaking Rome as always been very lively. You can see this looking at the many bands that have sprung in the years, some of which still active.

A difference between Rome and other musically-lively-scenes is that many different scenes have developed themselves during the course of the years rac-oil, the "identity rock" one, the singer-songwriters etc , scenes that despite having their own features and being well distinguished one from each other, have marched and are marching all together, often collaborating amongst themselves.

I could not tell the reasons of such vitality. Partially I think this may be the result, or better the reflex, of a variegated political background, that has always tenaciously resisted to repression.

I'll tell you more: surely the progressive involvement of angry and unsatisfied- of-this-world youth has given new vitality to the movement.

At present there are a lot of good bands in Rome, in some of whom we are directly part of: for example I have been for years the bass player in Dente Di Lupo, whilst Fabietto an recently Testudo are part of ZetaZeroAlfa.

Tell us something about the project. I have bee personally following this band since the beginning, and straightforwardly a can say that I am really a great fan of theirs.

In a couple of occasion I have also shared with Dente Di Lupo the same stage. After the concert I and Lorenzone have been talking and drinking with Michi till dawn.

Michi told as of the possible reunion of Faustrecht, and as we were looking for a band for a split, we made the proposal. He turned the idea to the rest of the band, who were all for it, and so, here we are!

The split will be out at the beginning of March , first as a very-limited picture disc EP in vinyl and soon after as a miniCD. Don't miss this one; this is also the firs: Italian-German Brotherhood project!

Presently which are the most interesting bands of the European scene in your opinion? Italian bands surely in this moment have an important place; on the other hare their value is well renowned.

But more generally speaking about the European scene the list of good bands s really too long. Maybe what the scene is missing are those "symbol-bands" that were around a few years ago Are you thinking of a SPQR website?

Future projects? We are taking this hypothesis " consideration. I think in the end we w: have a go at it. Thanks for the space, and best wishes fer- tile follow up of Nadsat!

Saluti Romani! Roma Caput Mundi! Please introduce yourself to our readers are you a skin? I'm 31 years old and I'm living together with my wife and our two children in the countryside near Wunsiedel in South Germany.

And yes, I am Skinhead. Since when are you a tattooer? I started in the end of An older comrade taught me the theory and some basic knowledge.

After a lot of time to gain experience in tattooing during a prison sentence, I bought my first professional equipment and did Tattoos mainly inside the movement.

It took two years to complete all those stuff and to get a good reputation and enough customers to be able to live with the money I earned with tattooing.

Thanks to 5er for the support and the help he gives me through these years! Finally I opened up my own studio in Why did you decide to become a tattoo artist?

As they simply belong to our way of life, you grow up with tattoos when you grow up in the scene - 1 guess you all know.

On the other side drawing had always been my favourite hobby I even did my "Abitur" that's the German school leaving examination and university entrance qualification in main subject art.

So it was just naturally to combine both. Any kind of tattoos you prefer doing? I like every tattoo that gives you the possibility to prove your ability.

I bet there are some draws you hate doing too Am I right? But this modern tribal style is boring to do. That depends on the kind of motif.

Normally I prefer black and grey works. Handling and working with the shadows separates the real tattoo-artist from the rest.

Is there any work you refuse to do? Please mention examples Due to my ideology I don't do any "intimate" tattoos or piercings.

To be true: up to now no one ever asked me to do such a motif. Do you go to tattoo conventions very often? I hate conventions.

That's part of the decay of our society. It's this decadence that makes our people weak and let them forget their traditional way.

If you do you must know the work of other people. Can you mention anyone you think it's an inspiration? If not exactly an inspiration maybe just some other people that you like the work they do.

There are a lot of very good tattoo-artists and it's always interesting to see the different styles. Tattooing means a going on development of your own style.

You never stop learning and trying new methods. But my inspiration I get from the drawings of famous artists like Caspar D. Friedrich and the art and architecture in the good times of our nation.

Even out of the Nordic and Celtic legends and the impressions I get while visiting historical places. People keep asking to make those tattoos?

You can forbid symbols, but you'll never be able to break the will of a folk to exist. As a tattoo always is an expression of your awareness of life, it's normal that people want to immortalize their ideals and their doctrine through a tattoo.

What can happen to someone with a forbidden symbol tattooed if exposed? That's the problem. You're allowed to have those tattoos but you're not allowed to expose them.

If you do, the punishment therefore lies between some hundred Euros and some month's prison sentence. Does the fact of being a skin affect your business in any way?

I mean do you have knowledge of people trying to boycott you or to refuse to get their skin tattooed by a skin? A political enemy will always refuse to become tattooed by a Skinhead.

And there are always people who are frightened because of the media propaganda lies about us. But especially in our area we have a large comradeship and a strong movement and a lot of supporters and "normal" people who are nationalists or at least have no problems with having contact with Skins.

So you can't compare our life here with the problems our comrades have to handle with in the bigger towns. Changing the matter, what kind of music do you listen too?

Any favourite bands? I love the good old Skinhead - RAC. Which is the latest tattoo fashion in Germany? The latest fashion always is to cover up the symbols the government forbid at last - ha, ha!

Now a silly question just for curiosity: Once I've heard that in Germany even prostitutes have a union Is there any kind of union for tattooists too?

There are the "German Organized Tattooists". But we nationalist tattooists just support and help each other. However I don't know if the prostitutes do have a union hope they have to pay taxes!

Going back to your work is there any convention where you'll be present in the near future and were " people may find you?

But we're planning to do something like scene-events. That means meetings with clothes to special prices, life-music, food and drinking and tattoos and piercings.

Besides tattoos do you or anyone else in your studio make also body piercing, scarification, etc? Do you also supply products machines, ink, etc?

I also do piercings. I only sell care-products for tattoos and piercings. I've got more plans for the future, but that needs time.

At the moment I do drawings for printed clothes which you can buy at the Wikinger Versand www. Which advice can you give to someone keen on making a tattoo?

Take you time - especially if it's your first tattoo you will remember your whole life that this was your first - with the choice of the motif.

So you should try to do an apprenticeship at a well known tattoo-artist with a lot of experience. Final words also may talk about anything you wish to promote.

Greetings to everyone who stood with me over the years and to every man and woman who spends his life upon our movement and tries to guaranty the future for our children and our people!

No surrender! We started Back then we were 3 members and I am the only one left since then. It has been some good times and some bad times.

But we are not complaining we still do this because we love it. Unit Lost has become a way of life, not only for the members but also for a lot of friends and Supporters.

We won't call it a day just because some politically correct, authorities or some other asshole trying to give us a bad reputation or slag us down.

In fact we get more and more determined to stay around and make them suffer. We are a great band and time will continue to prove that.

Unit Lost has developed their music since the debut-album. It has gone from Oil to hardcore-influenced streetpunk, how has the fans reacted to these changes?

Has the band lost some of its fans? First we don't have any fans, we prefer call it supporters. The majority seems to like the new stuff better and so do we.

All changes have come natural and it's impossible to say how Unit Lost will sound one year from now for example.

We don't try to sound in a special way or so. What are the main influences of Unit Lost? All kinds of music that we listen to, Oil, Hardcore, Punk, and lot of other stuff as well.

I also think that situations you have experienced in life have an impact on you. Unit Lost has had a lot of line up- changes, as an example of this the first vocalist Patrik Essman was kicked from the band.

Can you tell us why? Well, Patrik was a great guy but concerning the music we went to different directions. He was very into metal and we we're not.

Not as him at least. The other members and I wanted to go on with Unit Lost with me as lead-vocalist and so we did. Another reason was that we were no longer pleased with the way he was singing.

What's the current line-up? Approx how many gigs have Unit Lost participated in as a performing band? I don't know to be honest. About We have cancelled some as well.

The band played at the big punk- festival of Holidays in the sun a couple of years ago, can you tell us a little bit about it?

It sucked because we played as the first band on the Sunday morning. We had a hangover and weren't motivated and it was a small crowd.

Cool anyway as we we're the first Swedish band to play the festival. But we wouldn't do it again under the same conditions.

Unit Lost has been called a right- wing band and has also become a target for left-wing groups in Eskilstuna. Why is that?

Why people choose to call us a right- wing group I don't know. We still haven't met anyone who can explain why we should go under that label.

But to be honest with you we don't care any longer, if we ever did. We do what we like and won't sell our integrity just to get accepted. Extremist people try to force you to make a stand in different issues with all kinds of arguments.

But hell no! There's no rule saying that you have to go public with your opinions just because you play in a band. We are not interested to run your errands and we are not interested to programme your mind.

And if anyone has a problem with our way of doing things they can go on and pay their attention to another band. Anyway, I don't think we have had so much trouble with the left-wing here in Eskilstuna so far besides from them spreading rumours and so.

Has Unit Lost been receiving any suggestions from commercial record labels or gotten their songs played on any radio station?

There was a rumour a couple of years ago that we have been played at a local radio station here in Sweden. The program should also have been guessed at he same time by the famous here in Sweden artist ThSstrom.

Don't know what his comment about Unit Lost were but as he is a musician and old punk rocker I'm sure that he realized that it was something very genuine he had the pleasure to hear.

Scene look like in your hometown Eskilstuna? It's better now compared on how it used to be. They will also start release records and do other stuff.

Bands around are Hel Viking rock , Pitbullfarm Punkabilly? What do the members of Unit Lost occupy themselves with when they're not playing with one of the best street punk bands in Sweden?

Thanks for those kind words! Me and Bergan are studying and Fyris are working at a gym here in Eskilstuna. At the weekends we usually get drunk.

We are all also involved more or less in the PST organization so we do some work with that as well. By reading the lyrics of Unit Lost it seems like there is a major criticism towards the United States, can you tell us about it?

It's just the way it has turned out, really! We have never had USA as a deliberate target. We don't hate the country or the people in it as such.

But when you get pissed about something it is very convenient to write a song on the subject. And in the American system there's plenty of stuff to get pissed about.

But enough is enough so I don't think there will be any more songs regarding America. How do the future plans of the band look?

We have recently recorded 5 new songs and a cover for a split album with the Swedish band Battle Scarred. We hope it will be released this summer.

Then we will start working on an album just containing Swedish lyrics. A European tour in the autumn might happen as well. Anything else to add?

Thanks for showing interest in our band and keep up the good work with your magazine! Any special message to the readers of this interview? We are always up for some gigs.

Check out our latest album Mainstream Misfits as it is the best Unit Lost album released so far. However, we found on the net, an interview with the first drummer of Skrewdriver and focussed on the first years of the bands existence.

For this, NADSAT thanks him and also take the chance to send a big fuck off to all those who talk so much about freedom but who are the first to be the censors some punk sites even refused to publish it Grinny was extremely affable and answered all the questions with complete honesty and candor, which is what any interviewer hopes for.

So, of course, a massive thanks to the sticksman behind not only Skrewdriver but The Nips as well. The interview was done on by both phone and mail.

Incidentally, this piece is copyrighted under my name and as part of "Nihilism on the Prowl" as well. So don't fucking steal it.

We asked permission AG: Here's a question you must get tired of. How did you get your nickname? Do people still use it? G: My nickname "Grinny" comes from my surname, Grinton.

I have been called Grinny for as long as I can remember, and yes people still call me that all the time.

G: The first actual band I played in was Warlock. But before that I played at hotel, clubs and pubs, usually with just a keyboard player.

We would usually play the popular tunes of the day and old stuff like waltzes and quicksteps. This obviously was not the thing I wanted to do, but it paid well and gave me experience.

AG: How did Tumbling Dice come to exist? I heard you had a deal with Chiswick under this name but it fell through before the band could record anything.

G: Tumbling Dice came out of the remains of Warlock, while Warlock were playing. Ian had asked me to ask Phil Walmsley, the Warlock guitarist, if he would teach him guitar.

So Phil was teaching Ian, who was writing songs at the time. Ian in turn got Kev and Sean McKay, twins who had been friends for years, to learn guitar.

They were both good pianists and picked up guitar quite quickly. When Warlock split up in it was logical for Ian to ask if me and Phil would join him, Kev and Sean to make a band.

We agreed and started to rehearse at Ian's Dad's factory every Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Tumbling Dice did get a chance to record with Chiswick.

I continued to play with in Tumbling Dice for about seven months then I had a break up with a girlfriend and hit the bottle, which ended up with me getting sacked and being replaced by a guy named Steve Gaulter.

I went back to occasional gigs with Warlock, with a new guitarist, Huw Melt. Ian continued working hard for Tumbling Dice, rehearsing, sending tapes to record company's etc.

He got them regular, gigs on the Northern circuit with an agency. Finally, great joy, the chance of a record deal with Chiswick. Ian got the band together and proudly told them they had a record deal with Chiswick and would have to move to London.

Then Steve said he would not move because he had a job and a girlfriend. Ian went mad and broke up the band.

Not much point having a band that does not want to leave home. Ian came round to my house the next day and said "Them wankers had a record deal would not move to London so I have broke up the band".

Then he said to me "You would have gone, wouldn't you? AG: Where did you know the rest of the band from, as you didn't go to Baines Grammar with them?

G: I knew Ian from the age of one since he was my next door neighbor. I knew Kev from the age of six as we all went to the local Carleton C of E primary school pre-eleven years.

At eleven you took an exam the eleven plus. If you passed you went to the local grammar school "Baines". If you failed, as I did, you went to the Hodgson High School, which was mixed.

They were both in the town of Poulton-le- Fykle, about a mile and a half apart. So most of the pupils at fie schools knew each other. I met Phil when I was about thirteen when we played football against each other.

AG: Prior to punk, what music did you listen to? Any particular influences? G: I listened to and liked most types of music.

AG: Did you have any formal drum training or was it something you learned as you went along? G: I did have some formal training. My family is all very musical and my dad had his own jazz band.

When I wanted to learn drums, my dad said he would get me some but I had Id learn them properly. I went to a teacher named Ted Hardy for two years.

Then another, Bill Scott for six months. AG: What did you think of punk when it first came out? G: I liked punk.

It was going back to the basics; drums, guitar, vocals played live in small venues. Up until ' most bands struggled against DJ's and the discos.

There was not the work, most places just hired a DJ for the night and that was very bad for live bands at the time.

AG: Is it true the band had no name when you sent your punk demo to Chiswick and that the label named you? G: We didn't have a name when we sent the demo.

I think we got the name off a list of possibles fiat Chiswick supplied. We didn't like that, but we settled on Skrewdriver. AG: Was the band a "democratic" organization or as frontman did Ian have the most say?

G: Ian, as leader, bad almost all the say. There are many stories of things photographers, producers and managers wanted us to do but Ian would not do some of them all down to cool and street cred.

Ian could most certainly be stubborn when he wanted to be. AG: Do you recall your first few gigs as Skrewdriver?

G: Yes, I remember the first gigs. The first, as I said, was at Manchester Polytechnic. I remember this gig well.

The same picture was displayed on my phone. Emails, contacts from your phone, social media, the works. I could feel myself going numb. What had I let Her do?

Copies of the app will be sent to anyone you have every wronged, pissed off, or otherwise frustrated. All of them will have your balls at their finger tips.

I think my mind broke for a second. That was alright though, She had a fix for that. The shock that took me this time was long and drawn out and left me panting, desperately pulling air into my lungs.

I mean, you spend all your time cooped up in your room wanking it to porn, desperately wishing you could get up the nerve to actually submit to someone.

I could see the screen of my PC from the floor, see my contact list scrolling by, the emails pulled up to the left.

She was quickly figuring out which contact went to what email, how the conversations had ended, and replying with copied and pasted links and information.

She was traveling back through my past, the numerous people I had interacted with, many from the local pool or kinksters, most of which I had at one point or another talked about meeting and flaked out on.

A few, like Amy, I had even met a couple times, but when things started to get serious I had fled, like a coward, back to the safe anonymity of my PC.

Or so I had thought. My PC was at this very moment betraying my every secret. In those emails, those files, She had it all.

Pictures I had taken, like the one on my background now, but never sent. Fantasies I had written but never shared. Conversations with strangers had late into the night, all of it.

Before long, those whom I had only shared the smallest amount of my kinks would have it all, see everything I had ever been interested in, every perverted thought, every twisted desire….

And they would also have everything they needed to punish me for it all, to make me suffer for being such a perv, for treating them and those like them without respect.

They would make my life a living hell. I tried to get up, but the moment I started to rise another jolt hit me and I curled up in the fetal position.

Just sit there like a good little pup while I get this first wave rolling out. And now, She was telling every person who had reason to want to hurt me exactly how to do so as well….

It's unfortunate, I loved tumblr, that's why I created tumbex. Using tumblr with an easy, clean and efficient interface was my goal.

Because to be honest, their interface is really to be reviewed otherwise you would not be here. It is therefore with great sadness that I announce that you are living the last moments of tumbex, it was a great adventure, and a big thank you to all those who have followed me during all this time!
